Andrea was born and raised in Sacramento.  She graduated with a business degree from University of California, Riverside, with a focus on marketing, then pursued a career in television and advertising.  She worked in San Francisco at a firm that negotiated commercial spot placements and rates on television stations nationwide, then later moved back to Sacramento to continue this line of work at KCRA-TV.  Andrea met her husband in 2000, a CPA in Lake Tahoe, and moved to Tahoe in 2003 and became involved in investment real estate. 

Andrea was introduced to BNI in 2004.  She was one of the original members of the South Lake Tahoe chapter, and soon after became its Area Director.  In 2006 she transferred her membership to Carson City, Nevada, where she served as both the Vice President and the Secretary/Treasurer.  While a member of the Carson City chapter, she started from inception the Incline Village chapter and a second Carson City chapter.  As an Area Director, she was responsible for four chapters in Northern Nevada, one chapter in Truckee, California and one chapter in downtown Sacramento.  Currently, Andrea looks after the Rio Sacramento chapter.

Andrea moved back to Sacramento in July 2007. Her first child was born in December 2007, and at that point she decided to let her investment real estate career take a back seat and focus on being a mom, helping her husband with his CPA business, and being an Area Director for BNI.  She plays co-ed indoor soccer, dances the jitterbug to classic big band music with her husband, travels as much as possible, and of course, loves being an Area Director for BNI Central Valley.
