I grew up in Stockton, within walking distance of Victory Park.  I enjoyed the All-American childhood that so many others fantasize about.  When I think of summertime, it is all about Victory Park; the swimming pool, the room to run and play with neighborhood friends, and getting kicked out of the Haggin museum when we got caught playing hide-and-seek.  I grew up in the perfect family, Mom, Dad, twin sister and brother two years older.  Tree-lined streets and lots of kids to play with rounded out a wonderful childhood!

I graduated from Tokay High School in Lodi.  Despite my teenage oaths to live anywhere else; here I am getting prepared for my children to graduate from the same high school within the next few years!  I really enjoy being in Lodi.  It still has the small-town flavor that parents love so much even while it is enjoying tremendous growth.   I have heard others  refer to Lodi as Mayberry and it truly has that unique close-knit feeling to it.

Between moving away and moving back, I have been a legal typist, a legal secretary, an administration assistant at a Sheraton property; and opened my own business to support myself and my two children.  I came to BNI reluctantly; but have been thrilled with my change of heart since 2004!  BNI helped my first business to become incredibly successful in very short order; it was so successful that I talked my twin sister into opening a business as well.  I am my sister’s partner in Cartridge World of Lodi and enjoying the wonderful assistance, exposure and growth that BNI can bring to any committed business.

As an Area Director, it is my privilege to be part of the same process for the members of our chapters here in the Central Valley.  Encouraging, marketing and training my members has helped me to become a better, sharper business woman.  I am extremely grateful to John and Eva Lisle for the opportunities that I have been given through BNI.  I am also grateful to every member of BNI who has played a part in my personal and professional growth.
