I started my business career working as a legal assistant.  When my twins were born in 1986, I started my own business from home, providing bookkeeping and report writing services for local doctors on personal injury cases preparing to go to trial.  Four years later, I decided it was time for more and ventured into corporate America.  My ever-increasing responsibilities included sales management, marketing, customer service management and event planning.  Fifteen years later, having grown bored and disillusioned with corporate America, I once again started my own business, this time as a State Farm agent.  This has been the best career move I ever made.  Hindsight being what it is, I should have done it a long time ago.

I love what I do because I love to help people; as a State Farm agent, I have the latitude to do the right thing every day.  It just doesn’t get any better than that.  My philosophy and focus is one of education.  I believe that you need to understand what coverages you need, what you have and how they work before you have to use them.  I take the time to educate my clients and take pride in providing personalized legendary customer service.  A recent quote from one of my clients sums it all up, “Pam, you have taught me more in the last two days about my insurance and coverages than I have known in my entire adult life.  Thank you.”

My philosophy about my customers is this:

In my State Farm office, we provide full line insurance and financial services.  In other words, after you find your new home, we can help you with your mortgage (yes, State Farm has a bank), insure your home and autos, write your life insurance, set up a checking and savings account for you, write your liability insurance and cover your business insurance needs (to name just a few).  We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Walk in, call in or click in.
