Debbie Ruiz is a California Girl.  She was born and raised in Sacramento, where she also met her husband, Frank Ruiz.  Debbie later moved to livable, lovable, Lodi, where she resides with Frank, and their daughter Katrina.

Debbie was one of the original members of the dynamic BNI Lodi Founders chapter.  Along with Larry Underhill and Jeff Kim, she helped the chapter core group get started.  Debbie was the chapter secretary only six months after kick-off and was instrumental in helping the chapter to grow to more than 30 members in its first year of operation!  Debbie is still a member of Lodi Founders and is the director of eight BNI Central Valley chapters.

Debbie’s business career began in the fast-food industry.  Debbie was quickly promoted to a managerial position, and became a trouble-shooter for the company.  Debbie decided however that she wanted more of a challenge.  As a result, she joined the USAF only to have her enlistment cut short by health issues.  Never one to let life keep her down, Debbie took on new challenges.  Debbie became a consultant for Mary Kay cosmetics and worked diligently until she was a director and had earned her car & won a 1 carat diamond ring!  Once again life would hand Debbie a set-back.  After having the car for less than six months, Debbie broke both of her ankles.  This created havoc in a business where face to face communications and product delivery is essential.

While still recovering, Debbie heard about BNI and contacted John Lisle.  She and the other core members went to work to build a strong, profitable network for its members.  By utilizing BNI's training and the Mary Kay system, Debbie is consistently one of the top referral givers in the Lodi Founders chapter.

Debbie and Frank have been involved in various professional groups for many years.  During that time, Debbie organized corporate events for the groups.  Debbie’s events were so well organized that more and more requests for help came her way.  Finally, seeing the handwriting on the wall (and with much encouragement from friends), Debbie chose to formalize her work as “Consider It Done Event Planning” or CID.

CID can plan events as intimate as back yard parties or ribbon-cuttings, through to family reunions, and one-day corporate trainings and destination weddings and multi-day seminars.  CID has worked with individuals and businesses both large and small.  Celebrities we have worked with include; Stan Hutchinson, Channel 13 News & California Reverse Mortgage, Bob Newhart, Geoff Kirkwood, and Lori Moore!

Debbie loves being an event planner.  Helping someone who has a great idea become a great event is a true joy.  Being there to ensure that everything goes well and to take care of any emergencies that might arise are Debbie’s strengths.
