Thank you again for the wonderful presentation of MSP training.  Everything makes so much more sense now.  I am so grateful to be a part of BNI.  It’s an amazing and powerful organization.  I just completed an MBA degree that cost me over $30 thousand dollars, and I feel like my involvement with BNI will prove to be more valuable than my degree.  Thank you again for sharing such invaluable business and networking skills (the power of BNI) with me.  Givers Gain!!!

I would like to enlighten you about my recent MSP training!  First off, I am a member of the Rocklin chapter and attended the training that Tim McGinnis & Andrea Boyd held yesterday.  As most people are afraid of public speaking and are not very good at their 60 second commercial, the MSP training really shed light on how easy and simple it truly is.  Tim and Andrea made it simple to understand and in return opened my eyes on how to sell myself in a minute or less.  The balance of the training was very educational and thought the overall morning was a total success.

What a way to start of the new year. The MSP training (Member Success Program) held earlier today was great. I personally enjoyed going through our infomercials and providing feedback as to how we could better direct others to find exactly what it is we want for our business. I have listened to you several times now and want to thank you for the way your presentations go. You must have had Toastmasters training. I enjoy your eye contact, your volume in your voice, the way you throw in some jokes or anecdotes, etc. you move around the room as you speak. These are all great signs of an excellent public speaker.  It is enjoyable to listen to you. Keep up the good work.

ON BNI's RESULTS:

I am approaching my 1st year BNI anniversary. After reviewing my records I was astounded to find that I have made close to $30,000.00 in net profits due to my BNI membership both directly from my own chapter and from members in other chapters as far as Stockton (about 100 miles from my office).  $330 per year in dues was responsible for almost $30,000.00 in net profit; that has a nearly 1000% ROI. BNI is completely responsible for this profit to my business.

I have been a professional photographer since the year 2000 but about a year and half ago I saw my business drastically decline.  I blamed it on the economy and went to work in an entirely new field.  An electrician friend of mine (Todd Bromley, Class V Electric) offered me a job working part-time for him and I did so for about a year.  During this time, he joined BNI to help his business grow and one day he invited me to a meeting to see if I thought it might help my photography business.  Almost immediately, I received a couple of Tier 1 referrals, enough to pay for my membership.  I of course joined the BNI chapter and after a short while, I had to give my friend notice that I would no longer be working for him as I had become too busy with my business.  He was bummed to lose me but very happy that BNI was working for me.  Here we are now, a few months later and I am still keeping very busy and I am still a very happy BNI member.
