With the exception of six months, Art had lived in Northern CA all his life.  Some say he was born to sell.  Art’s first sales experience was as a 7 year old, knocking on doors in his Stockton neighborhood to earn a little “walking around money.”  After graduating from UC Davis, Art held sales & marketing positions in the alcohol beverage industry traveling the country and working with many talented people - a great experience was field work in Alaska selling to beer wholesalers during the winter – burr!

In 2001, it was time for a change.  Art was the general manager for a water treatment company that was being sold off.  It was time to get back to what he enjoyed the most, selling.  He became a co-owner with Rayne Water Conditioning of San Joaquin here in the Central Valley and focused on the sales side of the business.  Over the years, the company has grown steadily and attributes much of its new business from referral marketing. Art sells Rayne systems and creates custom water treatment systems out of his Big Valley Pure Water store in Manteca.  Between his Manteca store and his partner’s Rayne store in Los Banos, a total of ten Central Valley counties are serviced with more to come in the next few years.

Art and his wife Valerie along with their five children reside in Tracy. They have one dog and can’t wait for her shock collar to arrive in the mail.

In 2005, Art joined the BNI Tracy Executives chapter. He later served on the leadership team as chapter president and in 2006 was invited to become the Tracy Area Director.  Art has also been selected to be the 2009 President of the Tracy Chamber of Commerce where he hopes to help promote all business growth in the Tracy region. Art’s goal for the three Tracy BNI chapters is to help each of them achieve their goals.
